Charity gig

3rd January 2019

New year, new job. This post is mostly a placeholder because it'll slow up the blogging.

I took on a role in December as Lead Analyst at Wood for Trees in Bath. The firm specialise in data analysis for the charity sector, which means I get to mine some fairly large datasets all day long, and feel like I'm doing some good at the same time.

The role has already thrown some interesting workflow challenges my way. As an agency, Wood for Trees has to turn out a lot of visual output in a short space of time, which puts tool choice, training and style guides in the spotlight.

The company is part of a larger startup called MyLife Digital, who specialise in GDPR compliance and permission management software.

They're a lovely team, and I'm learning a lot about a whole new sector.
